If you've struggled with food or your body for years, you're not alone.

Most women believe their body problems come from not trying hard enough.

Not enough discipline.
Not enough willpower.

But after working with women for years – and after spending a good chunk of my own life inside that same soul-sucking struggle – I discovered something surprising.

The real problem isn’t the woman.

The Problem is the Diet and Exercise Model Itself

It’s a transaction model.

Calories become currency.
Exercise becomes punishment.
Food becomes a negotiation.

You know the conversations:

“I shouldn’t eat this.”
“I’ll make up for it later.”
“If I skip lunch, I can have dessert tonight.”

And even when the weight changes, the anxiety doesn’t go away.

The mental battle just changes form.

Instead of fighting a battle of the bulge… you start fighting a cold war with food.

The fight never actually ends.

I know this from the inside...

Everything I teach comes from healing my own pain, shame, and dysfunction around food, exercise, my body, and my weight.

I spent years doing everything the model told me to do. Trying harder. Being stricter. Following the right plans.

And no matter what I did, the peace I was looking for never showed up.

Eventually I stopped trying to make the model work — and accidentally discovered something that actually did.

My body began to change. But more importantly, the fight disappeared.

That experience is the foundation of everything inside Happy Calories Don’t Count®.

That's why I created the
Happy Calories Don't Count® Model

It’s a relationship-based approach that helps you
reconnect with your body instead of fighting it.

Instead of controlling your body through rules and restrictions…
you begin working with your body as a partner.

Instead of negotiating with food…
you learn to listen and respond to what your body actually needs.

This creates something most women have never experienced before:

→ peace around food → trust in their body → sustainable change

And yes — it is possible to feel good in your body and still want it to change.

Why Diets Never Actually End the Food Fight

The diet-and-exercise model teaches us three things:

→ that calories are a currency
→ that we must “pay a price” to eat
→ that our weight is our fault if we get it wrong

This creates an endless cycle of:

→ restriction
→ negotiation
→ guilt
→ self-judgment

Even when the weight changes,
the mental battle remains.

That’s why so many women feel like they are always either:

→ fighting a “Battle of the Bulge”

or

→ fighting a “Cold War” with food.
